It was Built in 1901 and designed by the French architect Marcel Drougnon. the museum consists of two main floors displaying a collection of 125000 items and in storerooms about 160000 items like papyrus, coins, statues, tables, and coffins (sarcophagi).

Then move to Citadel of Saladin ,Between the 13th and the 19th centuries, the Citadel of Saladin was the seat of Egyptian power for about 700 years. The Mokattam hills, which are the highest point in Cairo, were built over. Because of its advantageous location overlooking the city, which made it difficult for attackers to come from the east, it was also able to dominate the other four Islamic cities from the opposite side.
